Iros Marpicati has been painting for over sixty years and has so far exhibited in 113 shows (22 solo and 91 group). In recent years, Marpicati has hosted solo exhibitions in prestigious venues such as the Casa del Mantegna in Mantua, the MIIT (International Museum of Italian Art) in Turin, the Chiostro del Bramante in Rome, the Fondazione Stelline, and Bocconi University in Milan. He is an artist whose work has been covered by prestigious national critics such as Guido Ballo, Gianfranco Bruno, Lorenzo Canova, Martina Corgnati, Mauro Corradini, Giorgio Cortenova, Alberto Dambruoso, Fabrizio D’Amico, Mario De Micheli, Fabrizio Dentice, Giorgio Di Genova, Enzo Fabiani, Guido Giuffré, Giorgio Kaisserlian, Mario Lepore, Fausto Lorenzi, Mario Portalupi, Elena Pontiggia, Alessandro Riva, Franco Russoli, Giorgio Seveso, Giorgio Soavi, and Duccio Trombadori.
