TAIT Gallery was born from the understanding that contemporary art deserves to engage with the past to rediscover the value of painting , figuration , and the language of matter . Founded in May 2024 by Lorenzo Palumbo and Simone Loiudice —young artists under 30 —the gallery aims to be a space for research and discovery that balances generational urgency and aesthetic rigor, showcasing artists capable of conveying, through brushstrokes, composition, and substance, the power of the visual and narrative.
In July 2025 , TAIT Gallery moved to its current location at Via Bertola 26/D , Turin, a spacious 310 m² space designed to accommodate evolving visions, generational influences, and critical dialogues. Located near Porta Nuova , the gallery has established itself as a point of reference for national contemporary art, promoting dialogue between emerging and established artists and offering the city new exhibition and curatorial paths.
In a landscape often dominated by conceptual experimentation and hybrid media, TAIT Gallery firmly affirms its vocation for painting as the primary means of expression: a necessary act to reaffirm the centrality of the image , of manual gesture , and of the artist's body . We believe that figuration —in its many declinations, from material to symbolism, from narrative to form—can rebuild a vital bridge between the roots of art and the present , restoring meaning and depth to the contemporary gaze.
Each curatorial project stems from the desire to propose exhibitions that reflect a balance between expressive urgency and cultural awareness , respecting the artist's identity and stimulating public reflection on the value of painting today. With conviction , elegance , and respect for the history and future of art, TAIT Gallery presents itself as an active partner for those who believe that painting today means looking forward .
