CIRO PALUMBO

Contrada Murazzi, Turin - Italy, 2025

The WORK IN PROGRESS event, held during Turin Art Week, transformed the spaces of Contrada Murazzi into an immersive environment where art, sound, and matter interacted in real time. The audiovisual installation, developed in collaboration with the Sintetica collective, intertwined modular music with a visual journey built around the works of Sabatino Cersosimo—oxidized steel surfaces that reacted to light, sound, and the audience's presence, conveying the sensation of change as a constant process. The interaction between natural and artificial elements, control and chance, shaped an experience that was not limited to observation, but actively engaged space, perception, and time itself. We thank Sabatino Cersosimo, Sintetica, Contrada Murazzi, and all the people who participated in the project, contributing with their presence to making it truly a collective work in progress.
